We had a meeting today.
Mz opened the meeting by announcing that she is making a new rule - the number of hours which she and My do overtime will now be calculated per week instead of per month and accordingly they can go home the same number of hours early on Fridays..!
Nobody said anything and everybody looked like Wow! What a self proclaimed luxury!!
And then she said that I cannot be given any day off for 17 hours overtime as overtime means working for the school and not simply passing my time.
Right. I know this. On every second Thursdays we have meetings at 5 pm for which I (who leave at 2 pm) have to wait in the school till 5 pm. Earlier I used to work tit bits to pass my time but since 2 months knowing that I won't be paid, I go to sleep for 2 hours. Fairly just and round. However the irony is, when I work hard and several hours extra they tell me they can't pay me for it because H is studying here for free.
At least it is better not to be paid for not working rather than not being paid for working..!
I shall continue to sleep...!.
